NCB Marking Equipment has recently seen an increase in interest from steel stockholders for their hand held portable indent marking machine. New legislation, which will come into effect on 1st July, will see the need for all fabricated structural steelwork to be marked with the CE mark along with other traceability information.  This legislation has represented a major development for steel stockholders, engineers, contractors and steelwork specialists and it has demanded careful attention to the new obligations imposed. In turn NCB Marking Equipment has been able to offer an efficient and effective marking solution in the form of their Hand Held Portable Etching Machine.

The Propen M7000 will mark any permanent traceability information on the hardest surfaces on any shape or material. This machine can mark CE logos as well as letters, numbers, data matrix codes, other logos and can print serial numbers and date codes. It uses touch screen technology which allows you to program the marking actually on the head so you don't need a keyboard. It also has a USB slot so that you can easily back up files.
